In 2001 the Studio Design line of putters was launched and with them came the sensational new Screaming Yellow headcover. These covers really made a splash and were featured in golf magazines as well as PGA players’ bags. This unmistakable yellow cover featured an all new accessory called the pivot tool, which Scotty designed to better care for the greens.
She dances the hula. She rides the waves of Waikiki. The 2008 Hula Girl does it all with the style and grace befitting an island girl. Commemorate the beginning of the new Tour season with the first headcover of the year, Scottys much-anticipated Hula Girl.
As anticipated, Scotty delivered again in 2007 with this Hawaiian headcover, complete with dancing Hula Girls and a Cameron-themed Polynesian Tiki mask on pineapple-colored ultra-leather with dark green fur. This dancing Hula Girl is expertly embroidered in her green grass skirt, coconut bikini (100 pieces have one Hula Girl covering up where coconuts should be), and pink flower leis alongside a fierce Cameron Tiki mask (to ward off three-putts, of course).
After years of being tested on Tour and refined in the Studio, Stainless Steel putters were introduced to the public in 2002. These Studio Stainless putters come with all new graphics and an eye catching red headcover. The design is ‘50’s industrial, a time from which Scotty draws a lot of inspiration. The covers come with pivot tools and are simply hot!
For 2009, Club Cameron received an updated look starting with Scottys new "King of Clubs" logo in screaming yellow. The 2009 Club Cameron headcover is accompanied by a Club Cameron T Shirt, pivot tool, lapel pin and sticker to complete the membership kit.
For Scottys Studio Select putter line, introduced in 2008, he designed an industrial, yet elegant, headcover with his now-familiar Cherry Dot motif.
Each year Scotty travels to Hawaii to kickoff the new Tour season. In 2004 he started a tradition of stuffing new headcovers into the lockers of loyal Cameron putter users as a thank you and a surprise for the players. Well, what started as a little putter-maker fun has turned into one of the most expected traditions on Tour. If Scotty shows up without a Hawaiian-themed headcover, hes definitely going to hear about it in the clubhouse. The 2006 headcover features an exquisitely detailed Hula Girl doing a little dance with her ukulele.
Miss Lena Wayback makes her way to New York for the 2009 US Golf Championship via the USOBPB Scotty Cameron Flying Tiger Shark Express. One of Scottys most elaborate headcovers with an edge-to-edge rivet emboss and 82 minutes of embroidery runtime for its 65,000 stitches, our summertime pin-up beauty is a welcome addition to lift the spirits of golf fans nationwide. 2,009 headcovers were released on June 17, 2009.
Dancing Club Cameron logos adorn this royal blue headcover which was part of the 2007 Club Cameron welcome kit along with a matching golf towel, Club Cameron member hat, sticker and lapel pin.
Grab three cherry bombs off the new Studio Select line, top them off with a crown, and youve got yourself the "King of Clubs". Part of the 2008 Club Cameron kit which included this dramatic headcover, a visor, license plate frame, sticker and lapel pin, this headcover carries forward the tradition of Club Cameron.
